Visit Toy Fair Booth 6865 For Newest Roster Of Games Designed For Every Stage: Preschoolers, Kids & Family to Strategy Gamers And Adults
Snohomish, WA (February 1, 2017) – Who says you have to be a kid to play games? Hosting teens for game night with Mouthguard Challenge ($14.99) or Crozzit® ($19.99) might be the most memorable part of their week! Retailers like Walmart, Target and Toys R Us insist on carrying an array of games from toymaker Identity Games because they know all ages enjoy a good time with friends and family. Look for their roster of new products at American International Toy Fair Booth 6865.
As anyone who has attended Toy Fair can attest, fun and games is serious business! “Analysts expect a strong year for toys,” wrote FORTUNE recently. “NPD Group estimates that in the first half of 2016, industry revenues rose 7.5%. That continued the strong momentum of 2015, when U.S. toy sales jumped 6.7% to $19.4 billion, topping forecasts.”
A toy for big kids — teens, strategy gamers and adults — is one category that Identity Games has covered with the 2017 launch of Crozzit and Who’s the Dude? ($24.99). Crozzit is a 2-player strategy game with an enticing tagline “the game you always almost win.” Who’s The Dude? is best described as a bit edgy yet family friendly for 16 years old and up. The game includes an inflatable ‘Dude’ that’s part of every round. One person picks a scenario card. Then players need to guess what their friend and the dude are up to, as they act out much like a game of charades.
Family dynamics between siblings and parents that are downright goofy continue to be on the minds of Identity Games developers. The company launched Poopyhead ($16.99) in late 2016, where being #1 requires “doo” diligence in #2! For the very young, ages one and up, fun can be found in a tin of Miffy Hide and Seek or Elmo Hide & Seek ($19.99). Miffy is hiding and leaves clues to discover her spot. Likewise Elmo loves to hide but just for the few minutes it takes to master the game.
Smiles and giggles are ageless. Look for all of these games in stores or online around Spring 2017.
Miffy Hide and Seek • Ages 1+ • $19.99
Toy of the Year winner in the Netherlands
One player or parent hides Miffy, a sturdy character that chirps out little hints when hidden! Other players use the enclosed clue cards to find her in a secret hiding place. Like Elmo Hide & Seek, each game lasts about 10 minutes.
Poopyhead Card Game • Ages 6+ • $16.99
Players lay cards on the pile in the right colors and sequence: toilet, poo, wipe and wash hands. As soon as a player is unable to play a card, they squeeze the whoopie cushion to end the round. The player with the most cards left must place a pile of poop headband on his/her hair. After 5 rounds, the player with the most piles loses the game. But, when it comes to laughter, everyone’s a winner! Game includes 5 poopy headbands, a traditional whoopie cushion, 48 sequence cards plus instructions.
Crozzit • Ages 8+ • $19.99
This game looks easy enough but there are twists from step one to step 18 as 2 people play but only one wins. Player 1 makes a blue line connecting 2 blue sides of the board. Player 2 connects the yellow side but uh oh! The motto on the box reads, “the game you always almost win!” Fun, strategy and challenge combine for a great time.
Mouthguard Challenge • Ages 16+ • $14.99
Have you seen this challenge on You Tube? Try not to laugh out loud. Now take the challenge at home, if you dare. Game includes 51-card challenges, 4 revenge cards and 5 mouth guards. Giggling, drooling and unforgettable moments are guaranteed! The boxed set is meant for 2 to 5 players.
Who’s The Dude? • Ages 16+ • $24.99
Imagine playing charades with a full size (4’ 11”) blow up doll named Dude! That’s the idea behind this wacky game for mature (high school and beyond) players who pick up a card and then get friends to guess what they are doing with help from the Dude. A free Dude tattoo is tucked into each game box.
