Come by Booth #6646 to Get a Sneak Peek at Award-winning Cross Spin, along with ‘Connect the Dots’ and ‘Initial Reactions’
Chicago, IL (December 19, 2025) – Toy Fair attendees better brush up on their vocabulary, because JoPat Games, inventors of the multiple award-winning game Cross Spin is set to attend for their first ever trade show at Booth #6646. Folks with a finger on the pulse of toys and games will have followed Cross Spin’s storied success this year as they earned award after award. Trusted and discerning outlets like the NAPPAs, Mom’s Choice Awards, the PAL Awards, Autism Live and Clamour’s Influencer Choice Awards all bestowed their accolades on Cross Spin, a testament to JoPat’s game-making chops. In Cross Spin (2-6 players | 30 minutes+ | Ages 8+) players must race against each other to fill out mini crossword puzzles with answers based on prompt cards. Feeling stuck? You can rotate the board to get a different perspective and see if your answers fit that way instead! Be the first to solve your puzzle and put the pressure on the competition!
For their debut attendance at Toy Fair, JoPat will be showing off two new games for the first time: Connect the Dots and Initial Reactions! In Connect the Dots (2-10 players | 20 minutes+ |Ages 10+) players are given prompt cards and must try to match other players by finding what the cards have in common. If you don’t find a match with anyone else, don’t worry all is not lost, you can now attempt to make a connection with everyone’s answers from round 1. Match by round 3 or you may be the odd man out! Connect the Dots will put your abstract thinking and memory to the test!
JoPat’s word games continue with Initial Reactions (3-10 players | 30 minutes+ | Ages 17+)! Players roll letter dice, and based on what they get, must create acronyms in response to humorous prompt questions. Whoever’s acronym most impresses the HPIC, Head Player in Charge, will win the round and earn a point. The HPIC rotates after each round, so not only will you have to rack your brain to come up with clever acronyms, but you’ll also need to cater your acronyms to each HPIC. Who will come out on top and become MVP!
