Black Earth, WI (January 30, 2015)— KidStuff Public Relations, a boutique PR firm celebrating its 21st year in business, is pleased to announce a new vision, TechStuff PR. While the KidStuff PR arm will still focus on traditional toys, games & gear for families, TechStuff PR was launched to promote technology or tech-enhanced products that will appeal to children, young adults and families.

“There’s a great proliferation in the marketplace of exciting tech products for families, and our agency is perfectly positioned to help these companies gain consumer awareness among our target audiences,” said KidStuff PR president and founder Lisa Orman.  “Just as we started KidStuff PR to help parents navigate through the good, the bad and the ugly products for kids over 20 years ago because we as parents of babies and toddlers were going through that process, we want to help elevate the great tech products out there.”

The agency started working with tech start-up Evollve, Inc., in October 2014 to promote its Ozobot, the world’s smallest programmable robot.  To Evollve’s astonishment, KidStuff PR was able to amass a huge amount of media placements including in important tech outlets like TechCrunch, Mashable, Gizmodo and Cnet in less than three months, across mainstream consumer and key tech media channels.  Across mainstream consumer and key tech media channels, over 400 media placements were placed in total.  With these incredible results in hand, Evollve encouraged KidStuff PR to expand further in to this area.  Orman assisted Evollve with media coverage at the key Consumer Electronics Show in early January 2015, and since then, created the new division and brand identity with TechStuff PR. Soon, the agency will have a new website, http://www.TechStuffPR.com, that showcases both brands and its clients.

Here’s what our client Anouk Zisa, Evollve’s VP of marketing, says of her decision to engage KidStuff PR:

“Ozobot is an educational robot crossing over the toy, educational and tech markets, therefore we were seeking a solid PR agency anchored in the toy and mom industry that could also handle tech media.

Several industry players and mainstream media editors suggested we consider Lisa. We reached out to Lisa and our first conversation was a breath of fresh air. She was sharp and straightforward, yet pleasant.

We hired Lisa Oct 1st during a challenging Q4 period to help us launch our products into the marketplace. Orman immediately turned around major mom blogs, lifestyle and tech influencers placements and produced nearly 400 significant media hits in a period of 3 months.  It resulted in direct sales increase and successful brand launch. Lisa also amassed several industry awards for Ozobot.
Orman’s agency is a boutique powerhouse, reliable, hardworking and result driven. No fluff, no waste of time nor budget.”

TechStuff PR is seeking new clients for its new division. Interested companies can contact Orman at 608-767-1102 or email Lisa@TechStuffPR.com
